As a solo physician, I do not have weekend or evening coverage.

You can also call the Washington County Crisis Line 503-291-9111

Fees & insurance

  • I am not contracted with insurance companies. Being an out-of-network provider allows me to spend the required time with my patients. And this helps make treatment decisions guided by patient and physician rather than insurance companies.

  • For patients seeking reimbursements from their insurance, I will provide invoices or super-bill. In most cases, the difference after reimbursement is equivalent to what your co-pay would be.

Initial consultation

This time will be spent evaluating your mental health and discussing strategies to alleviate mental health symptoms. This does not include talk therapy. Usually 1-2 visits.

Follow-up visits

Frequency could be from biweekly, to every 6 months

Other Fees

  • Once an appointment is scheduled, it is not available for others. If you do not present for the appointment, you will charged the full fee. If you need to reschedule or cancel, you must do so within 48 hours of the appointment so it can be offered to another patient. If this is not done then the full fee will be charged.

  • In general I do not authorize refills outside of scheduled appointments. I will ensure you have enough medication until your next appointment time.

Refill requests when appointments are missed will be charged at $50 per medication and a follow up must be scheduled at that time.

  • Other professional services may include writing of clinical reports and treatment summaries, extensive telephone conversations/ consultations outside of an appointment, consultations beyond typical collaboration with other professionals will be charged at $400 /hour and may be pro-rated in quarter-hour increments
